The only thing I ever heard from them - probably the only thing most people ever heard from them - was "Let It All Hang Out". Didn't know they did early Beach Boys type stuff.

At least the dancers were entertaining. :)

Did a search and supposedly Huey Meaux produced their album. Supposedly, he was a real wheeler dealer, but he knew how to make commercial records that had some substance.

They were actually the road band for Ronnie & The Daytonas!

Didn't know that - certainly explains the surf sound on the clip you posted. I always thought they were a Dylanesque folk-rock band.

That's info I got from AMG, as is the tidbit that their hit was actually a put-on, a Dylan parody, based on that they thought that "Subterranean Homesick blues" was itself a sly joke.
