Just floating it out there that I have an open team in my fantasy baseball league. The team is in last place, but only because the owner went AWOL, not due to a lack of talent. Since I (commish) took over the team, they're 5-4, but have several injured players. their season record is 12-19, in a 45 game season. The wild-card leader for the division is currently 15-16, so there is plenty of time. This team also has several top players (Pujols, Hanley Ramirez, Kazmir, Vernon Wells, AJ Burnett, JJ Putz, Billy Wagner, K-Rod).

Line ups are set twice each week (Monday and Friday) and there is no fee. Scoring is H2H/Rotisserie, meaning that points are not cumulative, but determine the results of each period's matchup.

If interested, please drop me a line.

I've been a baseball fanatic since 1964-the Cards' miracle season-I was 10- and consider myself fairly knowledgeable about the game. This situation sounds like a great challenge. BTW I do read Baseball America so I keep up with MLB prospects, a plus down the stretch and if the team carries over from year to year.

In that case, welcome aboard, I'll send you a formal invite.
