AllenLowe Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 (edited) thanks for that, Jeff - I have been a major Boyce Brown advocate for a while. Completely original player (though I may discern a Teschemacher influence) - I'm trying to put a piece on my new blues recording project, with me on alto, which reflects that feeling, but it's very hard to reproduce. jeffcrom Posted July 23, 2011 Report Posted July 23, 2011 For those who are into Boyce, the "Brother Matthew" LP is on Ebay for a good buy-it-now price. Boyce is rusty, but interesting, on this record. Quote
jeffcrom Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 Due to a website meltdown, the link on my blog to the mp3s of Boyce Brown's Collector's Item 78 had been broken for awhile. I finally got around to fixing it today, and took advantage of the opportunity to make new, and better (I think) transfers of these two rare sides. Here is the link to my blog post about Boyce; if you want to go directly to the page with the Collector's Item tunes, click here. Quote
papsrus Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 Thanks Jeff. I just love that rendition of "I Surrender Dear." Quite unique. Quote
