Today we begin volume two of the "Anthology," titled "Social Music." In today's entry, we hear Uncle Bunt Stephens's recording of "Sail Away Lady," an old fiddle tune that dates back to the early 19th century.

Thanks for posting!

Columbus "Boy" Frugé lived into the 1980s. He is heard here playing accordion on two recordings from 1981. They are from 45 rpm records on a label called Buffalo. Johnny Richard was a drummer and James Thibodeaux a rhythm guitarist.

Saute crapaud!

Ta queue va brûler!

Mets (mais?) chère Pauline

Une tasse de café.

Oh crapaud,

Today's update features the musical Cajun couple Joseph and Cléoma Falcon performing "Acadian One Step."

Today's update is the last of three Cajun selections in a row and the last of three songs featuring the accordion. Here Les Breaux Frères perform a version of "Home Sweet Home," the sentimental favorite that dates back to 1823.
