Unless I missed it, what was his point on the whole mouthpiece thing? He seemed to imply that a change in Coltrane's mouthpiece was somehow an important factor in the change of direction of his music. Although he offered excruciating detail on the intricacies of mouthpiece modification, he didn't really bring that full circle. Quote
