THE SWEET HOLLYWAIIANS

Last week the Japanese string band, the Sweet Hollywaiians, performed at a short tour, in four venues in France, Belgium and The Netherlands. At the 23rd of January, 2010 they performed at a jam-packed cultureelcentrum 't Ey in Belsele, a village near Sint-Niklaas, situated between Antwerp and Ghent (Belgium)

The music of the 1930s, as played by almost forgotten legends like Sol Hoopii and Roy Smeck, warmed the audience in chilly Belsele, with its tropical sounds.
