Lazaro Vega Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Hazen Schumacher brought out a great book last year called “A Golden Age of Jazz Revisited, 1939 – 1942” via NPP Books, P.O. Box 1491 Ann Arbor, MI 48106, USA. In it was a card that says if you go to the web site http://www.bixeibenhamburg.com and click on “skip introduction,” you’ll see 24 icons, click on any one of those icons and an entire program of “Jazz Revisited” will play. Stonewall15 Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 Jack Simpson (Host of the "Jazz On The Beach" program in Orlando) plays one of the Hazen Schumacher 30-minute Jazz Revisited CDs every Saturday afternoon at 12:30PM (ET) on WUCF-FM (89.9). This broadcast is streamed on the internet. The broadcast is well worth listening to if you are interested in jazz history prior to the 1950's. Quote
