Need help identifying genre

Hello,

Anyone seen the Honda Crosstour commercial featuring the song "Fever"?

I have been trying unsuccessfully to find music that sounds like this commercial. (very prominent bass, horn, with or without vocals) I've heard plenty of music like this in clubs, but trying to find commercially available CDs is difficult because the amount of jazz available is overwhelming, and I have no idea where to start. I have been listening to samples on Amazon from lots of jazz artists that I recognize, with no luck at all.

Is there a particular genre / period that typifies this sound? If anyone could name some albums to get me started, that would be great.
