Saturday night in Grand Rapids at Mexicans San Frontiers -- long time west coast trombonist, composer, bandleader Michael Vlatkovich on a rare trip to Michigan. Damon Short on drums, Jonathan Golove electric cello. Vlatkovich records are on www.pfMentum.com while the most recent Damon Short CD is on www.ninewinds.com. The trio will play two more hits in Chicago this week, one at the Hungry Brain.
