Brother Yusef Lateef is 90 this Saturday. Tonight on Jazz From Blue Lake we'll begin with his tenor saxophone and flute featured with the Dizzy Gillespie Big Band, Donald Byrd, Charles Mingus, Cannonball Adderley and his own classics Morning and Plum Blossom; further into the night we'll tap his Yal Records catalogue and the collaboration with percussionist Adam Rudolph for wildly creative music. 10 pm-3 am www.bluelake.org/radio
