Is anyone familiar with this? Is it a hokey novelty item, or is it interesting music? I think there is a Spanish CD of it, and am interested. But I could not find any sound clips.

It was reissued by FreshSound which had anagreement to reissue material from the Dauntless label.

Thanks, Brownie. Do you mean that those Fresh Sound CDs are drawn from real masters, and not from LPs? That would be great, as there are a couple of other Dauntless recordings that I would like to get.

Don't think FreshSound had access to the original masters, otherwise thet would have included more material in their Dauntless reissues.

But the sound I have heard on their reissues from that catalogue is excellent.
