Van Basten II Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 (edited) Did not know where to start a thread about this cd, it's on a classical label Deutsche Grammophon, it involves plenty of well known jazz musicians , Seamus Blake, Mehldau , Marc Feldman etc and it is played with compositions done in the 14th century Most of the music has an African world beat sound to it but more importantly it's georgous music, in a way it's Christmas music that you can listen all year longhttp://www.seaoftran...content&id=8903 Edited June 25, 2014 by JSngry Quote
JSngry Posted June 25, 2014 Report Posted June 25, 2014 Well, ho ho ho! I picked this up cheap at Berkshire, and have listened to it twice today. It starts out sounding kinda wallpaper-y, but as it goes on, I realize that I like wallpaper if it's well-textured and subtly detailed enough to hold my prolonged stare, and this certainly does. Milton Nascimento's all up in it too, so fans, take note. Quote
