alocispepraluger102 Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 (edited) wosu makes changes npr all day, all the time. there, of course, will be a minor satellite playing canned classics. jazz and classical music with intelligent commentary are becoming a thing of the past. in my half century years of listening to wosu-am and fm, there were many splendid hosts and commentators who daily shared their love and knowledge of music, and taste, and a piece of their lives with us listeners. i miss their companionship. one article suggests that my local satellite will carry the news service and another says that classical will be broadcast. time will tell. alocispepraluger102 Posted January 7, 2011 Author Report Posted January 7, 2011 the local wosu outlet is now carrying classical music, albeit mostly the classical top 50. at least, that foregoes the dread npr signal. Quote
