BERIGAN Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 (edited) Well, not yet, but no doubt soon. Though he has been running them for 20 years, but how the hell can his feet, knees, back, etc take this???? http://www.myfoxny.com/dpps/sports/world--record-365-marathons-365-days-dpgonc-20110205-jd_11748778 Edited February 6, 2011 by BERIGAN Quote

papsrus Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 I read about this guy yesterday and still can't believe it. It seems like the lack of any recuperative period just wouldn't allow this to be possible. Quote
ejp626 Posted February 7, 2011 Report Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) I read about this guy yesterday and still can't believe it. It seems like the lack of any recuperative period just wouldn't allow this to be possible. More to the point, he could he possibly travel between all these cities to run marathons, let alone going to both European and American ones, as claimed, without missing a day? My impression is that there is not a marathon run every single day somewhere in the world. They take quite a bit of planning. Plus there are very, very few run in the middle of the week because of the impact on traffic. Now if he claims he runs 20+ miles a day, well maybe, i.e. he runs a marathon-equivalent. But frankly it sounds like BS to me. Edited February 7, 2011 by ejp626 Quote
