Dan Gould Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 A life of success and promise that deteriorated into one of pain, frustration and waste has ended. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/28/arts/television/jeff-conaway-actor-in-taxi-and-grease-dies-at-60.html?ref=arts Quote
mikelz777 Posted May 28, 2011 Report Posted May 28, 2011 (edited) I don't watch the show, but I caught bits and pieces of him on Celebrity Rehab and I was alarmed to see his poor condition. He was a mere shadow of his old self, a broken man. From what little bit I saw, I had serious doubts that he was ever going to be sober again. Substance abuse is a terrible thing and it indiscriminately saps the life and soul out of it's victims. Edited May 28, 2011 by mikelz777 Quote
paul secor Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 I enjoyed him on Taxi. After he left that show to try and become a bigger star, it seems as if it was all downhill. I'll just remember him as Bobby Wheeler on Taxi. Quote
