That's very cool! I've only done 7 minutes of the first booster but it's quite the ride. :) I think I'm going to try to avoid watching it before bedtime lest I have dreams about falling, although the neat thing is you can see the parachute deploy so maybe it won't induce nightmares.

Thanks for this! We're actually planning a road trip next month to Florida to see the last launch of the space shuttle. It's something I've always wanted to do.

Saw a launch once from the beach at Daytona (I think). A local had advised us to go there to watch the arc. We had been sitting on the beach for about an hour (it was around 2:00 am) and the sky lit up. I said "I guess this is it" and my son said "if it isn't, we're all fucked".
