Free For All Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Amazing! Repeated from different angles, different camera locations. Follows the boosters from launch to separation to splashdown. Quote
BERIGAN Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Amazin'! Also amazin' , 17 folks felt compelled to Dislike the clip. Quote
Quincy Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 That's very cool! I've only done 7 minutes of the first booster but it's quite the ride. I think I'm going to try to avoid watching it before bedtime lest I have dreams about falling, although the neat thing is you can see the parachute deploy so maybe it won't induce nightmares. Quote
RDK Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Thanks for this! We're actually planning a road trip next month to Florida to see the last launch of the space shuttle. It's something I've always wanted to do. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted June 1, 2011 Report Posted June 1, 2011 Saw a launch once from the beach at Daytona (I think). A local had advised us to go there to watch the arc. We had been sitting on the beach for about an hour (it was around 2:00 am) and the sky lit up. I said "I guess this is it" and my son said "if it isn't, we're all fucked". Quote
