Brandon Burke Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 Seems to me that it would be nice and cheap for Capitol to license the rights to sought after OOP Blue Note sessions like True Blue, etc over the online iTunes server with very little overhead. Does anyone else see this happening? Why? Why not? As far as I can tell, it's a win/win situation any way you look at it. Quote

.:.impossible Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 Independent Rock labels are currently (or is it already complete?) working on a deal with iTunes to make available to the public what most megastores refuse to carry, or what is already out of print. Blue Note is still trying to figure out how to remove opt-out email addresses from their database. Unfortunately, I do not think they will be catching up any time soon. I'd love to see it though! They have licensed a few album covers to ropeadope for t-shirts... btw, this is my first time online with a wireless card! so sweet! Quote
