zootsi Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 With the loss of Johnny Otis (west coast) and Castor (east coast), we're seeing the end of the early r&b era. In addition to his 70's hits, I believe Castor was a session musician at a lot of the 50's New York doo-wop recordings. Quote
