JohnS Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 I've had this record for many years but I've just spotted that it has the imprint 'Made in Poland' on the label. Jacket is printed in the US. What's going on here? Is this a later pressing? Were other ESP discs pressed in Poland? Seems a bit strange to me. Quote
brownie Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 No 'Made in Poland' sign on my copy. The labels indicate 'QUAD - SUPER STEREO' at upper right. Adress: 'ESP-DISK', 290 West End Ave., New York, N.Y. 10023' near bottom. One side of dead wax carries the date (it was pressed?!?): 11-5-73. There was some strange business deals at ESP outside the States at that time Probably also inside the USA! Quote

Thanks Brownie, seems just the same as mine, (orange picture of Lowe), except for the 'Made in Poland' just beneath the ESP DISK address. Quote
