BERIGAN Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 If there is one, and I've missed it, sorry! The youtube thread is still going,(and a 90 + minute long Miles Davis concert is a recent addition) but few posts, and no one comments anymore it seems. Anyway, came across two interesting live tv shows, (nice that youtube finally allows longer clips to be uploaded) Here's a very good quality tv show from England in 1965 of Jimmy Smith. 30 minutes. Same uploader also put up this 35 minute clip of Erroll Garner on a roll in 1964. see even more interesting stuff in the sidebar...but what have "you" found of late???? Quote

Stonewall15 Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 Does anyone have more details on the Erroll Garner piece- where, when, accompanists? Does anyone have same details for the Wes Montgomery piece? Quote
BERIGAN Posted May 12, 2012 Author Report Posted May 12, 2012 Does anyone have more details on the Erroll Garner piece- where, when, accompanists? Does anyone have same details for the Wes Montgomery piece? i dug thru a few pages of comments, saw this, but hey, don't take it as gospel! His regular bassist, Eddie Calhoun, with Kelly Martin on drums. Also, if you click on the link below to the youtubers blog, I bet you could ask him to make sure.... Quote
