JSngry Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 Manti)?) are trippy, indeed. On an unrealted yet still buggy note, my daughter called me out to the porch today because a small wasp was flying aroung inside the screened area and she was worried about it (she's 21, this is all she has to be worried about, apparently). Well, I went to get some wasp spray, but the thing was so small I figured I'd just wait until it landed, grab it with a kleenex, and if it lived, throw it back out into the open air. Well...in the course of diverting it around, the thing flew into a spider web. UH-oh! Hey, Krissie, watch THIS. She did, and she was at once fascinated and creeped out. The spider came on down and did what it do.. Them bugs ain't got no etiquette, none of 'em. Quote

Them bugs ain't got no etiquette, none of 'em. my lovely lovely daughter, wearing light summer clothing yesterday, while trimming my shrubs, managed to slice my cable(and phone and internet) rile up some wasps, and catch poison ivy. with a helper like that, who needs enemies?????? JSngry Posted August 4, 2012 Report Posted August 4, 2012 The good-heartedness indicated by offering to trim the shrubs will last long after the lesson to PAY THE HELL ATTENTION when doing so has been learned! Not all kids grow up to be kind-hearted with their parents, ya' know? Quote

Not all kids grow up to be kind-hearted with their parents, ya' know? you better believe it. after all that, before the cable was fixed, we had a nice long lunch and drink at her favorite restaurant. i count days like yesterday among the good times, the very best times.
