jazzbo Posted August 20, 2012 Report Posted August 20, 2012 (edited) For sale is a "home-made" (not by me, but by another Central Texas resident) preamp built with the SRPP circuit utilizing two 12AU7 tubes. A line stage preamplifier (no phono circuit) that sounds very nice, full bodied and detailed. I used this preamp in my main system for about 500 hours while my main preamp was at the manufacturers for a checkup. The case is wooden, the transformer is torroidal, and there are three inputs (selector switch on the front) and a volume control (on the top). Photos are on this page: http://app.audiogon.com/listings/12au7-preamplifier-srpp-diy?show_listing=true This is available for 275 dollars including postage within the continental USA. If interested, please contact lonjazz@yahoo.com Thanks! Edited August 20, 2012 by jazzbo Quote
