Firstly, is anybody in possession of an earlier CD release of Betty Roche's "Take The "A" Train"

There were 2 previously unreleased alternate takes (actually 3) listed as "Go Away Blues" included on the CD

The recent Japanese Solid release has 2 alternates (plus a 45 sec breakdown) of "I Just Got The Message, Baby" instead of the above

I'm wondering if "Go Away Blues" is actually "I Just Got The Message, Baby" & has been mislabelled on these earlier CDs

I'd appreciate someone who has a copy having a listen for me & reporting back -> will help to modify/correct the Lord Discography

Secondly, "Summertime" has been listed as being part of this session but has only (AFAIK) been released a the flip side to Bethlehem 45 11054 (a side "I Just Got The Message, Baby")

I'm wondering if this version of "Summertime" is they same one that is on the Porgy & Bess LP (Roche vo & Howard McGhee tp) & not part of this session (Conte Candoli was on tp)

Any Bethlehem single collectors out there that could have a listen to the 45 or digitalise the track & send me an MP3 - either would be greatly appreciated

Everything is exactly as you say. I checked some years ago. The mistake about "I Just Got the Message" is also on the Rhino edition of this record, possibly the source of that mistake, since it's the first time the alternate takes were issued (as far as I know).

"Summertime" from that single is indeed from the "Porgy & Bess" sessions.
