I don't buy drinks but If you are one of those who talk big about what this saxophonist does or doesn't do or how he dresses and all that (see untucked shirt on cover if new CD) I would like you to sit right by me on Saturday night as close to the bell of the tenor as is safe. Very little touches what it is like to hear this saxophonist and this powerhouse trio in that nice long thin little room. Peace and Blessings Quote
xybert Posted June 30, 2014 Report Posted June 30, 2014 (see untucked shirt on cover if new CD) Ha ha, i know that people here are only making light hearted fun of Malaby's presentation but i had to laugh at the cover of his latest album: It's almost like he is cheekily trolling his fashion detractors, he is even holding up the bottom of his untucked shirt as if to accentuate it! But then i remember the real world... a world where if someone at the office had me up for having an inappropriately untucked shirt, and i said "lol get with it i'm just rocking the Malaby look today!" they wouldn't have any idea what i was on about. Anyway, Malaby is awesome. Better get back to work now... Quote
