Pete Douglas (Bach Dancing and Dynamite) RIP

Bay Area jazz radio station KCSM reports that Pete Douglas passed this morning. Great promoter of jazz through his 50-yearld Half Moon Bay club, Bach Dancing and Dynamite Society. I try to visit every time I'm in Silicon Valley/Sand Hill, and of course, I went regularly when I lived in the Bay Area.

That's a shame. RIP, Pete!

I haven't been there for MANY years, but have fond memories of the shows I saw. It always makes me feel good that it's still down there on the coast. I hope someone keeps it going.
