Carlsberg: biodegradable beer bottles?

This article says that Carlsberg is working on a bottle which is100% biodegradable, including the cap.

I've always understood that the argument in favor of glass is that it in no way changes the taste of the bottle's contents. So I guess we will see if Carlsberg can create a non-glass container which similarly will not change the taste.
