Flash problems with Firefox?

Today I was unable to stream any radio station or ESPN3 or Amazon Prime Music on Firefox, my default browser.  I downloaded the latest Flash a number of times, with the result of no sound.

Yet when I tried it with IE, I had no problem.

Do you think that Flash has stopped working for Firefox?

I'm on OS X, but Firefox has devolved into a real mess to the point of being useless. I used to prefer Firefox, but now no longer even have it installed.

Thanks erwbol.  I've been watching ESPN3 with IE a little bit this evening, and it's never been better.

Could be something corrupted in your profile, assuming you already tried the standard drill (rebooting the machine) with no joy.

I'm using the latest production versions of both Firefox (41.0) and Flash, and have no issues with Flash videos. Check your Flash plugin to see what it's set to - I prefer "Ask to Activate" as I despise autoplay videos.
