Albuquerque police officers trying to keep a perimeter around a tense standoff with a woman in a stolen car had to keep out a man trying to roll his piano in.
...
a pair of officers were minding a checkpoint off of Aspen Avenue near the Starbucks when a man rolling his piano tried to get through.

Officers stop him quickly as the man explains that he’s trying to play John Lennon’s “Imagine” for the suspect in the car to try and defuse the situation.
...
that man is Davide Martello, also known as Klavierkunst, a pianist who travels around the world performing for peace.
...
“I don’t think he’s gonna hear it,” said Martello before playing the full song for the officers.
...
Unfortunately, his song for peace didn’t seem to work this time. Minutes later, the suspect in the car started inching forward before taking off over a spike strip, out of the gas station and northbound onto Rio Grande. After a short chase on I-40, officers caught the woman at an apartment complex and arrested her on a number of charges.
