I used to watch his TV shows in the late 50's/early 60s. He used to show old horror films and do some hilarious routines during breaks from the movie. Those were the days when television on local stations was live and improvised to a great degree. He would have one way conversations with his wife, Isobel (in a coffin) and his son, Gasport, and would cut into the movies at times to make comments to characters.

Thanks for all of the memories and the laughs, Mr. Zacherle.
