I for one have been enjoying the soprano tracks on the recent issue. My introduction to soprano was via Sidney Bechet playing "Summertime". I read here a few days ago about Trane discussing soprano with Hodges. Of course, there's a line of development there, from Bechet to Hodges to Trane.
