Joe Pass' virtuosity on guitar and voluminous solo and small group recordings for Pablo between 1972 and 1992 have long made him one of my favorites. Born January 13, 1929, he died at the age of 65 in May 1994, less than six months after I conducted a phone interview with him on November 30, 1993.

Timeless Jazz will celebrate his legacy with a number of his recordings plus a few excerpts from the thirty minute interview.

Streaming on wutc.org from 3 to 5 pm ET on Sunday, January 12, repeat streaming on WUTC's HD 2 station on Wednesday, January 15, from 10 am to 12 noon ET.

Still no podcasts, but the station is working on it. I can probably send two zip files to anyone interested.
