Roger Farbey Posted yesterday at 08:02 PM Report Posted yesterday at 08:02 PM (edited) Interesting new one from the Mahavishnu - see link. Released 14 November on vinyl and CD but the latter is nearly $35 albeit for an SACD. Never heard of the label but I guess this is because it's a movie score. https://www.impexrecords.com/john-mclaughlin-music-for-abandoned-heights-180g-33rpm-lp/#:~:text=Experience guitar legend John McLaughlin's stunning 2025,Music for Abandoned Heights%2C on HQ-180g vinyl. jazzbo Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Impex Records is a well-known and respected audiophile label. Their gold cd of "Ellington Indigos" is one of my very favorite discs. They have also done an INCREDIBLE SOUNDING SACD of "Getz/Gilberto." Their LP releases get great praise, I haven't bought any as I'm not buying recent reissue LPs. Edited 13 hours ago by jazzbo Quote

Thanks for that info about Impex Recordswhich gives me more confidence about purchasing this premium product. Just makes me wish I had an SACD player. Quote
