British Jazz

[Tom 1960]

The last few years I've been very curious about the Jazz scene outside the US. Mostly from the era from the 1950s- '1970s. I have explored some recordings from Sweden, Poland, Germany Japan, etc. While I do have some Tubby Hayes and a few other British artists, I was kind of curious. I see this particular box set and was interested in other people's input. Is this something I should be also considering? https://a.co/d/b986BR5

I don't have the set, but have LPs by a number of the artists featured. I don't think you could go wrong at the price Tom. This thread covers a lot of ground:
