Like many, I can't get enough of this trainwreck either.

Most, if not all, have been listed at CDU as "no longer available."

I just happened to order this used off Amazon. Looks like the 1989 CD, which is by far and away the most affordable option.

Prices aside, I did pre-order three of these through CDU. But, as I feared... they didn't come out. All of these OJC releases show a status of backordered. Does anyone know if and when these are hitting the cyber shelves?

Arrived from CDU this morning and all is well in the jazz world. I should think about scoring Takin' Off, but it'll be a long while before I take Magnificent Thad out of the CD player! JRM has been more miss than hit over the last year. They're pretty bad about keeping new releases in stock... but they have a ton of $30+ imports that no one will buy.

Same here. I feel the same way about Davis Cup. I'm with you here. I've always found Davis Cup to be an amazing listen. I'm very much looking forward to the Baby Face and Thad Jones.
