Guest Posted January 14, 2006 Report Posted January 14, 2006 I think Jack recorded three 78 records April, 11 1946 on this label. Did he or anyone else record other records on this label? Quote
Jaffa Posted January 23, 2006 Report Posted January 23, 2006 Westy56, I've only got 11224 - and have never seen anything else on that label. Seems Big-T got involved with at least another short-lived and bizarre label: Viking - of which I have 104 (from January, '41) and I wonder whether any other jazz was recorded for this company that used a rather strange plastic(?)-based material for its semi-flexible pressings. jostber Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Have these sessions been reissued on any CD's? Quote
Stereojack Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Have these sessions been reissued on any CD's? The Viking sides were issued on "It's Time For T", Jass 624. Quote
jostber Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Thanks! Would have loved to hear the 1946 recordings too. Quote
