Leon Fleisher died 92 years old. One of the most fantastic musicians of the 20th century.

Overcame fate and later played the piano only with his left hand. Very open-minded, too.
Listen to his album "All the the things you are" (Bridge) how he plays modern classical pieces
and  jazz standards like the title and "The man I love" - most fascinating.
And when he plays Bachs Chaconne you want to kneel down.

RIP, Leon Fleisher..

He was such an inspiration to hear and a real gentlemen to see. Very fortunate to have heard him many times live in recitals and conducting, especially at the Marlboro Music Festival.

R.I.P. Leon
