Altoist Peter King, who played on the session, says of it in his autobiography Flying High: "Listening to it again after nearly forty years, it doesn't sound too bad at all, but I notice that nearly every tune is a little too fast .... But then again, Philly and I were pretty 'speedy' ourselves at the time, which explains it, if you get my drift."😀
