It includes all the possible sessions by Strayhorn, Ben Webster, Clark Terry, Ray Nance, Paul Gonsalves, Harold Ashby, Johnny Hodges, Shorty Baker, Cootie Williams, Cat Anderson, Harry Carney, Lawrence Brown, Jimmy Hamilton, Tyree Glenn, Oscar Pettiford, Rex Stewart, Barney Bigard, Booty Wood, Julian Priester,Britt Woodman, Gerald Wilson, Rolf Ericson, Ake Persson, Johnny Coles, Benny Bailey,Bennie Green, Buster Cooper, and many others. This is a task that would require a lot of time to consider what would be my favorites.

I have the Barry Harris - Solo - CD on the September label. I also have this one on that same label: Martin Wind, Bill Mays & Keirth Copeland - Gone With The Wind - September 5116 - recorded October 18 & 19, 1993 in Holland. The booklet for the Barry Harris CD also has a list of 10 other jazz CDs on the September label featuring both European and American musicians.

Saw Burton live a few times. Enjoyed seeing and hearing him with Stan Getz. His own groups have been a mixed bag for my taste. At times his groups had a Rock element that is not really my thing.
