    based on the excellent Pastoral Symphony i know, these seems to be a must buy....but not for the faint hearted for sure....

    A gem, for sure. And what a nice selection of pieces. Only slight drawback IIRC is that John Heard's bass is picked up in a rather boomy manner. sounds like this being a consensus "must buy" !?!

    Buy the LPs Actually, I suspect Universal Japan may have issued them on CD way back. MG Released in Japan - "Signifyin`" in 2002, "Possum Grease" in 2005

    Speaking of Guido Balestracci, this fabulous original Symphonia release was reissued on Pan Classics recently : Highly recommended (also the recording itself is stunning....) !!
