    You`right, it`s nearly impossible to go for the best Andrew Hill outing on Blue Note .... but if hard-pressed I would go with "Black Fire" followed by "Dance With Death" .....

    Excellent playing overall (John Handy !! Don Pullen !! Charlie Haden !!) and insightful arrangements by Sy Johnson .... this was the first and remains the best Mingus homage by this group ....supposed not to replace Charles Mingus, but to put another perspective on his body of work ....
