Being rather picky regarding Schubert and never found 100% satiesfactory Quartet recordings .... witnessed the lucid flow paired with immanent pain only via live concerts by the Viennese Alban Berg Quartett during the 1990's .... unfortunately - at this stage - the ensemble was not recorded (properly) .... profound memories remain....
