  1. Hey Guys, FYI I was hangin' with Joel (Spyro Gyra) today, before their gig in Monroe ( they were excellent as usual) and he mentioned to me that he and Julio really liked the CD Joe laid on him at the Pontiac gig. He said most of the time stuff people give them to listen to is boring but they listened to your entire CD on their drive up north from that gig! They dug it. I know it would have been better comming directly from them but, I didnt say a word to him about it. He brought it up. Just thought you might like to know. keep on groovin' FM
  2. wow...thats a relief. I thought for sure Joe was never going to give me back my CD and video because of it.
  3. Great......., just what you guys needed...some immigrant from NJ (whom you havent even heard play yet) starting trouble in paradise.....sorry....I meant no harm. Yet, I believe Randyman couldnt have explained it any better. Its not a knock on anybody, it just how a drummers solo should be approached. Right on brotha.....be careful though, at the next gig they will probably walk off stage and not come back! Have fun guys FM
  4. Whoa........ Randyman, here I am sticking up for you, whilst being ganged up on by J&J, and your no where to be found! Help me out here will ya? Sorry guys....it must be a Jersey thang....I meant no offence Keep burning it up.......... FM
  5. To all you funk/jazzers out there: Im looking for the vinal of Joe Farells' "Upon This Rock" this has to be one of the most funkiest albums of all time. Its out of print and as far as I know there is no plans of a re-issue. If anyone has it and wants to sell it or will burn me a CD or make a cassette I would be happy to compensate you for your troubles. Drop me an e-mail- bradgiaimo924@hotmail.com thanks I would also like to know if anyone else digs this record as much as I and what they think about it.
  6. Hey Guys, I really enjoyed the second set last night at B.O.P. "Tenderly" really was sweet.( Nice groove Randy-man. It was cool to finally meet you.) And just a note to all you non-drummers out there: when the drummer man sets you up with a riff out of his solo to come back into the tune-TAKE THE HINT.
