Well, after 2 hours… I tried again, again, again…….and now my Sony can play the disc. Something like that never happened before. Very strange thing... Maybe my Sony needs a “warm up” for "copy-controlled" CDs!

hi to everyone, my copy "RON CARTER - THE GOLDEN STRIKER" "copy-controlled" CD can not be played on my CD-Player "SONY X33ES"! That´s great! This is my first "copy-controlled" CD, I am going to buy no one more!!! HKL

hi, the blue note redesign artwork has been discussed for many times on the blue note bulletin boards. From an artistic point of view it´s a shame. it is absolute not outstanding! but their partner company emi-toshiba japan have an excellent redesign. original artwork and high quality-scans. it should be no problem for blue note U.S.A. to get the japanese redesign. And it would be great to praise the wonderful work of reid miles and francis wolff. But who cares about artwork? Most collectors are interested in a new RVG remastering only..... HKL

The information I have is, that they will be scheduled for release on May 21st 2003. But there is no confirmation on the toshiba reissue homepage at the moment. So lets wait a few days...and see what will happen. (that´s why I am a little bit sceptical) HKL
