I regret, it was high summer ;-)! After I have had finished a narrow gauge boat trip with my family on the Llangollen Canal we went to Wrexham nearby ... I know this quote. It is from the liner notes of the LP "Ascension"! Currently we have in Göttingen - 3 ° C (27 ° F), sunny, no snow!

Maybe, but the performance of Dexter Gordon at the 11. Internationale Jazzwoche (11th International Jazz Week) in Burghausen was already on March 13, 1980, the gig in Göttingen much later on October 15, 1980. Possibly there is a connection to the gig in Hamburg at "Onkel Pö", because Göttingen is not far away. Unfortunately I do not know the exact date there:
