By the way, here's my Bobby Hutcherson discography

It's no longer comprehensive; it needs to be updated -- because I haven't revised the site for LONG time. Also, the discography is album-based, rather than session-based -- since I didn't have access to those details.

Despite those shortcomings, it may be useful to some folks. ;)

Thank you for all the excellent posts on this thread.  I find much to love about this Bobby Hutcherson discography.

Just noticed that FLACs of the Smithsonian Collection of Classic Jazz are available at the Internet Archive:

Thanks for posting this.  I hadn't listened to the Smithsonian Collection in 40 years-although this newer version sports a slightly different track selection, it is excellent.  I found the juxtaposition of Fletcher Henderson, Red Nichols, and Bennie Moten stimulating.

The Rosemary Clooney set is pretty nice. Some of the organ backing is a bit twee but her singing is very enjoyable and classy and the Mosaic set did it's job for me by highlighting a substantial talent that I wasn't really aware of.

No doubt I will pick up the Bing, if/when it comes back.

Hello- I got a shipping notification on the Bing Crosby yesterday.
