  3. I am offering for sale a copy of the Triple Point box set on the New York Art Quartet, Call It Art. This is a 5-LP set with a hardbound book detailing the history of the group, presented in a large wood case. There is also a postcard-sized b/w picture signed by Roswell Rudd and Milford Graves. The set is in excellent to like new condition. All the vinyl is very clean and has only been played once or twice. Shipping on this is more expensive because of the weight of the set, but I am offering this for $275, shipping included to the US. I will also consider trade offers. PM if interested. Thanks!
  4. Updated with a note that this set is now being offered on EBay. If you are interested, here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/253000277549?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  5. It's been a mystery to me why this box has lasted so long. It's great.
  6. This set is still available. I'm going to put a price on this of $600 (it retails for $800), but I will also accept offers.
  7. Hey gang, One more to put up for sale or trade. This is the big, beautiful 24-disc set of Duke Ellington's Complete RCA Victor Recordings. The box is in EX/Like New condition, with one tiny scuff on the upper right hand corner of the cover. The discs and sleeves are all in like-new condition. The book is in Acceptable condition. The issue is that some of the pages in the middle of the book are loose due to the binding coming undone there. But the book is complete...everything that should be there is there. And there are no marks or rips or tears or any other issues with the book. I am selling this for $225, including shipping. I will also trade for music of comparable value. (I am mainly looking for Mosaic sets...if you have any to trade please let me know.) PM if interested. Thanks!
  8. I am offering for sale Bear Family's massive box set, Black Europe: The Sounds and Images of Black People in Europe Pre-1927. For more information on the set, see the following link: Black Europe: https://www.bear-family.com/various-history-black-europe-the-sounds-and-images-of-black-people-in-europe-pre-1927-44-cd-box.html This set is a beautiful piece of art. In particular, the volumes that accompany the CDs are really quite stunning. I'm selling this due to looming financial & space issues. For this I am not setting a price, but rather accepting offers. Please PM me if you are interested. I will also consider trade items, principally Mosaic sets and, as indicated in another thread, The Complete Galaxy Recordings of Art Pepper. Thanks for looking!
  9. I am offering for sale or for trade the two massive box sets put out by Third Man Records, The Rise and Fall of Paramount Records, Vols. 1 & 2. Both are in like-new condition, with all pieces intact. See the links below for more information on each set: Volume 1: http://thirdmanstore.com/the-rise-and-fall-of-paramount-records-1917-1932-volume-1 Volume 2: http://thirdmanstore.com/the-rise-and-fall-of-paramount-records-volume-2 Both of these sets are stunning pieces of art. I highly recommend them. I'm selling both due to looming space & financial issues. I'm not setting a price, but rather asking for offers. If you are interested, please PM me. I will also consider some trade offers, principally Mosaic sets and also, as I indicated in another thread, The Complete Galaxy Recordings by Art Pepper. Anyway, thanks for looking.
  10. Hi, If anybody would be willing to sell their copy of Art Pepper's Galaxy Recordings, please PM me. Thanks! David
  11. It's not surprising. Mosaic has probably run its course in many ways. Not because they adhere to a physical format, but because the audience for jazz is getting older and older, and once they had gone through the Blue Note catalog they've mostly focused on stuff from the 1930s and 1940s, which must have a pretty small potential audience.
  12. I have for sale a like-new copy of the Mosaic Complete Savoy Bebop Sessions. Discs, booklet, and box are all in like-new condition. I will sell this for $130, shipping included for US deliveries. I will ship internationally at cost. Paypal only, PM if interested. Thanks! Item is sold. Thanks for looking!
  13. Hey, So I'm interested in picking up the huge Ellington Centennial Box Set. There are a few copies floating out there right now, but I thought I'd check here first to see if anyone here has a copy they are interested in trading or selling. Send me a PM if that is the case.
