This Item is offered at Discogs : lowest USD 49,95 and highest USD 100,00 plus postage. Seems a bit "premium" level to me to make a buck.

If I can find a good vinyl for the latter mentioned I'll probably get it. Have to look up some japanese sources for vinyls. Haver spotted also a nice priced 2 CD set from Ireland (mint). Thanks again for the Info. W.

Cant read the one left from Freddie Hubbard (first pic) ;-}} Except the "Groove Holmes" they are all here! Nothing new in the West. ;-]] We could also debate whether all this is "Fusion" and how far this is seen as a style??

Correct. It is a compilation but by no means complete. There is a lot more on old 78 discs. Also Lord's lists the Crown label and more. Similar editions with different covers are shown at Discogs. A german edition as I found out now on the Pandora label and another UK edition with a blue cover with shlightly less tracks and titles. OAlso some track durations seem to differ.

Havent seen neither of the two groups "live" but like them both (the 4tet with Brookmeyer & the sextet with Eardley and Sims. Here is a nice one with all of them

I wonder that noone mentions his collaboration with Bob Brookmeyer for example the great Paris concert. I rate this group even with the Chet Baker recordings. "Age of Steam" is lesser important for me.
