    Yessir! It's a mighty fine rekkid!!

    I have an original NM copy (vinyl is NM, cover is VG+++++ :lol: .

    I have had many LP dealers beg me for my copy, which was found in a Value Village (thrift store!).

    Don Joseph is indeed great on the album.

    No bonus tracks for me, I'm good w/ the LP.

    Well, I am no audiophile!!! But the Jazz Factory (Blue Moon) release is good, not great, but good.

    If you have the Spotlight LPs, you have an idea what the sound iz like.

    Essentiall stuff!!!!! Very listenable. FWIW.

    Love Brew Moore!!! Just unearthed the Ray Nance LP that features Brew. I am somewhat of a completist when

    it comes to Moore. Phil Urso has told me some, uhh, racy stories about Brew. Phil had nothing but good things

    Sabir Mateen W/ Daniel Carter & Andrew Barker "Not on Earth...In Your Soul" on Qbico.

    Can't get enough Mateen, and this live date from 2002, sounds fine. I am NOT an audiophile.

    Sure, Qbico LPs are not always of the highest quality, but the love and care that go's into each LP is

    so great and unique. Been spinning this a lot. Hell, only 300 copies (I think) and NO cd issue.

    Chuck Nessa is right, in my experience.

    The universities/Libraries have no use for LPs (by and large).

    Think about it.

    I have a friend who is nearing his early '80's, his quandry?,

    what do I do with my amazing collection of (mostly) Jazz?

    At first, he wanted to give it (the collection) to his alma matter,

    then he got wise, and thought "Hell, they will just throw it out!.

    (I have seen this happen, at the University of Denver, D.U.).

    My pal has no relatives, and is now thinking hard about selling

    the whole collection to a well known dealer.

    Tough call, any you slice it.
