  2. Elgar - Cello Concerto (London Symphony Orchestra, Barbirolli) Delius - Cello Concerto (Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Sargent)
  3. does the trick ... Music on Vinyl (mono)
  4. Protomartyr - Ultimate Success Today
  5. i think it's interesting to add that Stokowski's birthday 18 April is very close to Wagner's - 22 May
  6. The Poem of Ecstasy * Prometheus (The Poem of Fire) * Dream
  7. Liszt - Sonata 'Apres Une Lecture de Dante' * Mephisto Walz * Études de Execution * Transcendante i understand but because of the Allegro's i can't end up in a meditive state myself ... and for me it is to repitive. Vivaldi used predictable formulas over and over again.
  8. beautiful and calming but misses the Italian authenticy ... not that it bothers me to much. One thing ... i get bored after a while by how repitive Vivaldi's music is, and the excess of 'the Allegro' doesn't make things better also.
